Scottish Cup – Elgin bus update

Please note that the bus for the Scottish Cup game with Fochabers at Elgin on Saturday is now full. The bus leaves at 7am from the Thistle ground, picking up at Strathclyde Park then on to Luncarty for breakfast before heading to Elgin. The bus will leave Elgin at 6pm.

Thistle now the only unbeaten team in the League

As we go into the final game before the break for the first round of the Scottish Cup, Larkhall Thistle are now the only unbeaten team in the Central League First Division.

Indeed, within the whole of the Central and Super Leagues, the Jags are one of only half a dozen teams to retain their unbeaten status.

The full list of unbeaten teams is:

Super League Premier Division – Ayrshire giants Auchinleck Talbot

Super League First Division – Ayrshire trio Kello Rovers, Hurlford United and Ardrossan Winton Rovers

Central League First Division – Larkhall Thistle

Central League Second Division – Johnstone Burgh, Forth Wanderers

Let’s hope the Jags can keep the run going for a while longer!
