Larkhall Thistle Kit Aid 2014

Kit Aid is a registered charity whose mission is to send football kits to underpriviledged children in the world’s poorest countries and get them involved in playing football.

Thistle decided to donate four complete sets of football strips as well as several other items from previous seasons to Kit Aid, and when Jags treasurer Hugh Kerr spotted a Kit Aid poster on a bus shelter in Lakhall he got in touch with Dougie from Airdrie Trust Kit Amnesty. Larkhall based Airdrie supporter Robert Cox arranged to collect the strips on behalf of the trust and deliver them to Airdrie.

Thistle are delighted to have helped to play a part in this very worthwhile cause and it is good to think that some teams somewhere in the world will be running around in the famous red and white stripes.
