The club held their awards ceremony in the club lounge today with a full house of players, coaching staff, committee and supporters. The winners were as follows

Charity match 29th May for Dylan Bittles

Game Off, Race Night On

Today’s league game with St Anthony’s has been called off, like most games in the region, due to flooding.

Tonight there is a Race Night in the Larkhall Thistle Social Club, tickets are only £3.00 and all proceeds go to club funds.

Race Night – 8th March

Larkhall Thistle are holding a race night on Saturday 8th March. The event will be held in the clubhouse at Thistle’s Gasworks Park and all are welcome. There will of course be a fully licensed bar on the night at the best prices in town!

Tickets are only £3.00 and all money raised goes towards club funds.

This year’s Christmas dance and cabaret has been changed to Friday 27th December as the original act that was booked cancelled. We have managed to get Des Dee as a replacement, Des played the club in October and was first class.

Club news: Under-13 game, Sportsmans Dinner

On Sunday 14th April the Thistle ground will host the semi-final of the Under-13 Scottish Youth Cup between Larkhall team Burnhead Colts and Hamilton Accies Boys Club, 1pm kick off. The game was originally due to be played on Sunday 10th but was postponed a couple of times.

It is the first time for quite a few years that a local team have reached the semis so come along and give them your support.

We are holding a Sportsmans dinner in the Community Centre, Montgomery Street on Saturday the 27th April. Speakers are current Forfar manager Dick Campbell – one of the best speakers on the circuit – and Willie Young, ex top grade referee and lawyer who has some great stories from his days as a Grade 1 and FIFA referee.

Tickets are priced £25 and include a 3 course meal. 7:00pm start for 7:30pm.
