Dean Richardson on trial with Peterhead and while we don’t want to lose him we wish him well in his attempt to play at a higher level but he will certainly be welcome back should things not work out.

Alan Fleming has still to put pen to paper due to personal circumstances.

Sandy Strang and Mark Weir are leaving the club and we would like to thank them for their efforts. Work commitments made it difficult for both Sandy and Mark.

Needless to say the coaching staff are currently running the eye over various trialists during pre season which started on 29th June, no doubt these guys will be involved in the pre season friendlies arranged.

New Player signing

Thistle have signed local player Sandy Strang from Royal Albert. Sandy can play in midfield or up front and will be a welcome addition to the squad.

As wellas playing for the Albert Sandy has previously played for our other local rivals Lesmahagow.

Thistle have signed experienced midfielder/ striker Brian Jack from Shotts. Brian has played for Petefshill and our Scottish Cup opponents Cumnock among others and should prove to be a valuable addition to the squad.
