Hope your still well and active. Allan Duff was telling me about the reunion of players from the past at Gasworks park last year which sounds like it was very successful, if I’d know about it I would have tried to make the journey albeit I’m 500 miles away. Alan told me that he met up with some of our team from the mid seventies Tommy Anderson, Martin Mulherron, John Whitelaw, John Chalmers and Alistair Duff as well. That’s
nearly half the team! Shame I missed it.

Howz it gaun? I remember how your dad got us a trial and into the primary school team at least year or so before we were eligible. They had just been humped 6 – 0.
What a pity we also didn’t play together for the Jags . I’m sure we would have still been effective. Did they sign u from Bonkle? My email is [email protected] if u want to keep in touch.
I went to a couple of home games recently and as ever got a warm welcome from Hugh and Chris.
Also got to chat briefly to Martin Mulherron, and was good to hear he was doing well.
Yes as hard as nails as were a few of the guys in the team I played in.

Hi Ian I’ve lived down on the south coast of England for 35 years but have fond memories of Larky! will never forget the games against St Roch’s talk about old firm!!!
Got an old action photo from a Larkhall game from the 70’s do you have an email I can send it to, might be of some interest

The picture of the crowd invasion is still vivid in my memory as I played ( debatable) in that game. Have shared some of these memories in the 1977 Archive section and delighted to do so. Was also pleased to see a pic of JIM Roberts in one of the 70s team photos. ” Yogi” and I were best mates and played together up front in a good Lammermoor PS (Coltness) team both banging in a lot of goals!
