Your correct les innes after he stopped playing become a scratch golfer at colville park and was the club champion nay times and competed in the scottish amataer championship. Willie powell never really played to his potential and as you say could have played at a higher level.

LAST PLAYER IN FRONT ROW IS STEWART MCCANDLESS, NOT JACK WILSON

LES INNES WAS A STRONG RUNNING MIDFIELDER WHO WAS A P.E. TEACHER AT LANARK GRAMMAR SCHOOL.
WILLIE POWELL WAS FROM STONEHOUSE, A QUIET LAD AND AN EXCELLENT STRIKER WHO SHOULD HAVE HAD A SENIOR CAREER- WAS PALS WITH DAVID MCNIVEN WHO WENT ON TO PLAY FOR LEEDS UTD. STEWART MCCANDLESS WAS A LEFT-SIDED MIDFIELDER

Big Mo had an amorous sister called Marion.
Even wee Nin sought her affections at a dance in the Cameronian Hall

Ill get in touch with big Mo and get Marion to visit him, that will keep him going for another decade at least…
His father ” beer barrell ” lived to a great age, although Willie was a sad loss.
Always remember some players eyeing him up for a tap with his leather briefcase
