Thistle romped to a big win today against struggling Perthshire. After a first half performance that saw the Jags in front but not entirely set the heather on fire, they blew the Shire away with a tremendous second half showing.
Today’s game against Glasgow Perthshire is on, kick off at 2:00pm.
Thistle are hoping for a win against the bottom placed team so come along and support the team. Entry is £4.00 and £2.00 for concessions.
Next week’s fixture hasn’t been announced yet but will probably be Shotts at home in the West of Scotland Cup if there is a result either way in their Scottish Cup game today.
Larkhall Thistle are holding a race night on Saturday 8th March. The event will be held in the clubhouse at Thistle’s Gasworks Park and all are welcome. There will of course be a fully licensed bar on the night at the best prices in town!

Come along and support the club – and win yourself some money too at the same time!
Today’s game with St Anthony’s has been called off due to the rain. No games in the Central League First or Second divisions survived the weather.
Thanks to Larkhall Thistle committee man Levi McPhee for the photo.
The next scheduled game was next Saturday 22nd February, home to Shotts Bon Accord in the West of Scotland Cup but this game is now POSTPONED
Shotts’s Scottish Cup game today was called off so they will play it next week instead. We now don’t have a game scheduled for Saturday yet but might get one announced tomorrow (Sunday) or Monday.

Bobby Wilson was a Scottish Schoolboy international who joined Airdrie from Larkhall Thistle in 1943, he then appears to have rejoined Thistle as a coach when he finished playing – probably in the mid 1950s. He was also at Workington AFC.
Do you have any more information about Bobby, especially what job he did, and if he is still alive?
Neil Fissler is a football journalist in London doing research for a Who’s Who on Workington AFC and any help would be appreciated so if you know anything at all about Bobby Wilson please reply using the comment box below or email ian @ larkhallthistle.co.uk
Thistle made their first visit to Dunterlie Park since the teams were both in the Super League Premier Division in season 2005/2006 and came away on the wrong end of a scoreline that more than flattered the home team.
Today’s game with Arthurlie at Dunterlie Park in the First Round of Euroscot Eng Central League Cup has escaped the weather and goes ahead, kick off 1:45.
Today’s game with Shotts has been postponed. Thistle were due to play Shotts in the West of Scotland Cup today but Shotts are playing in the Scottish Cup, which takes priority so the game is off. There are no teams in the league available to play as all of them already have games scheduled so no game today.
Next game is Arthurlie away on Saturday 8th February.
