Thistle were once again without several key players, this week’s new casualties were keeper Davie McEwan who hurt himself at work and Mark Canning who was sick as they took on league leaders Bellshill in atrocious conditions. The wind and rain made it impossible to play any real football and in the end the visitors coped better with the circumstances.
Former Larkhall Thistle left back “Deano” has been involved in an accident, he was hit by a taxi whilst crossing the road. Dean has a double fracture of his forehead, a dislocated eye socket and a fractured jaw.
Larkhall Thistle went into this game minus several key players and with three trialists as their only substitutes – but in the end came away with their fourth consecutive away win, a result that leaves them handily placed for a real promotion push.

Sad news, Brian Jack’s dad passed away last Thursday at the age of 52. Just to say that Brian and his family are in the thoughts of everyone at Larkhall Thistle at this sad time.
This year’s Christmas dance and cabaret has been changed to Friday 27th December as the original act that was booked cancelled. We have managed to get Des Dee as a replacement, Des played the club in October and was first class.
