Thistle have been drawn away to Rutherglen Glencairn in the Euroscot Eng Quarter final.
The game will be played next Wednesday 1st June at 7:30pm.
There are some clips of the game from last Monday uploaded to Youtube, unfortunately the Albert strike for the goal was too fast for the cameraman but Graham Gracie’s goal and the penalties are there.
Thistle brought the curtain down on their league campaign with a home game against Thorniewood. With both teams safe from relegation and neither able to get promoted there was only pride to play for but they both put in plenty of effort in a decent last game.

As Willie pointed out, the penalties score in the Royal Albert game on Monday was 8-7 to Thistle and not 7-6 as initially reported on the SJFA website. The mistake has now been corrected on their site.
Penalties were as follows:
Nicholl – missed
Clarke – scored
Gracie – scored
Reid – scored
Jack – scored
Reynolds – scored
Innes – scored
Brown – scored
D. Thomson – scored
Thistle looked to try and put their Royal albert performance behind them and finish the season on a high note as they looked for revenge for a 3-2 defeat at Johnstone in November.

Thistle have three home games coming up this week so please get out in the sun and support the team.
Monday – Local derby against Royal Albert (Albert supporters welcome!) in the Euroscot Cup 2nd round
Wednesday – Johnstone Burgh in the second last league game of the season 7:15pm kick off
Saturday – Last league game of the season against Thorniewood United, 2pm kick off
For everybody connected with Thistle, today’s fixture was overshadowed by the news of committee man and lifelong fan Hugh Kerr being admitted to intensive care. It goes without saying that everybody is hoping for a full recovery and to see a man held in the highest affection by all, back fit and well and supporting the Jags.
As for the game, Dunipace went into it on the back of an 8-1 drubbing at Wishaw whilst Thistle had conceded seven goals in the last two games, so this never looked like defences were going to be on top.
The following fixtures have been announced:
Wednesday 4th May – Rossvale home, kick off 7.00pm
Saturday 7th May – Dunipace away, kick off 2:00pm
Monday 9th May – Royal Albert home, kick off 7:15pm (Euroscot Eng Central League Cup 2nd round)
Wednesday 11 th May – Johnstone Burgh home, kick off 7:15pm
This leaves us with Thorniewood United still to play at home in the league and, if we beat Royal Albert, a minimum of one other game – away to either St Roch’s or Blantyre Vics.
Tonight’s game has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
