Larkhall Thistle said goodbye to their Spanish star David Garcia on Saturday with a special presentation. David collected a farewell present from the club a week after the Player of the Year awards as he was unable to attend last week due to sitting English exams.
He is going back to Spain on 22nd June and will sign for Ontinyent CF who were relegated to the third tier of Spanish football at the end of the season.
David was one of the highlights of an otherwise average season and his play was far beyond what Junior supporters at our level have come to expect. He will return to Spain having left some great memories and with best wishes from all involved with the club.
