Larkhall Thistle 1 Drumchapel Amateurs 0 – 3rd August 2013.

Today’s match report by Hugh Kerr
Thistle completed their pre-season friendlies with their only home game today and won 1-0, but if it had not been for big Davie McEwan who had four great stops we could have been embarrassed by a very good Drumchapel team. From the start the amateurs were very much in control and it was only their finishing that let them down. The Jags goal was a tremendous volleyed finish from J.P Grant. Lee Moss came on for the last 20 minutes and was promptly red carded for downing a Drumchapel player who was bearing down on goal.
Larkhall Thistle: McEwan, Russell, Nicol, Cassidy, Kelly; Canning, Marshall, Innes, Grant, McGeachie, Jack Subs; Moss, McMinn, Gracie, Reynolds, McKeever, Brown
All subs were used throughout the game. A very lacklustre display indeed with only Davie McEwan getting pass marks.
